Product Merchandiser

A Product Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the product assortment, stock availability, product performance, and merchandise flow across retail stores. The Product Merchandiser ensures the right products, quantities, sizes, colors, and collections are available at the right stores and at the right time to maximize sales and minimize excess stock. Key Responsibilities : Plan and manage product assortment for assigned stores and categories. **Monitor product sales performance and identify fast\-moving and slow\-moving items.** Analyze sales, stock levels, product performance, and inventory reports. **Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained across all stores.** Coordinate with Warehouse and Store Managers regarding stock requirements and replenishment. **Plan and coordinate stock transfers between stores based on sales and inventory requirements.** Monitor new product and collection launches and ensure timely distribution to stores. **Review product availability by style, size, colour, and SKU.** Identify products requiring replenishment and coordinate with the Warehouse team. **Monitor excess, slow\-moving, damaged, and discontinued merchandise.** Recommend stock transfers, markdowns, promotions, or other actions to improve stock movement. **Coordinate with Buying/Procurement regarding product requirements and future demand.** Assist in preparing seasonal merchandise plans and product assortment strategies. **Monitor inventory levels against sales forecasts and business requirements.** Ensure products are properly allocated to stores according to store size, customer demand, and sales potential. **Prepare regular sales and merchandise performance reports for management.** Analyze sales trends and customer preferences to support product planning. **Monitor competitor products, pricing, collections, and market trends.** Coordinate with Visual Merchandising to ensure key products and collections receive appropriate display space. **Support promotional campaigns and ensure sufficient stock is available for promotions.** Assist with stock counts and investigate merchandise discrepancies when required. **Maintain accurate product information, SKU details, pricing, and merchandise records.** Work closely with Finance, Warehouse, Retail, Marketing, and Operations teams. **Perform any other duties assigned by management.** Skills \& Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred. * Minimum 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in fashion retail. * Strong knowledge of fashion products, retail operations, and inventory management. * Good understanding of product assortment, stock allocation, and replenishment. * Strong analytical and numerical skills. * Good knowledge of MS Excel and retail/ERP systems. * Ability to analyses sales and inventory reports. * Strong communication and coordination skills. * Good commercial awareness and understanding of customer trends. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
