Procurement Specialist - Power Generation | Saudi Arabia

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing local and international procurement activities, from sourcing and supplier evaluation through purchasing, importation, logistics, delivery, and order closure. The role requires strong experience in procurement of electrical and mechanical equipment/materials, supplier negotiation, logistics, and coordination with engineering, sales, finance, warehouse, and project teams. **Location:** Saudi Arabia **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ * Manage local and international procurement activities for electrical and mechanical equipment, materials, and spare parts. * Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and manufacturers. * Obtain quotations, prepare commercial comparisons, and coordinate technical evaluations. * Prepare and follow up on purchase orders, supplier deliveries, and open orders. * Coordinate shipping, importation, customs clearance, and SABER requirements. * Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Warehouse, and Project teams. * Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and procurement costs. * Maintain accurate procurement records and ERP data. **Knowledge, Skills, and Experience** ------------------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. * 3–5 years of procurement experience in the Saudi market. * Experience in purchasing electrical/mechanical equipment or materials for projects. * Strong experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, quotation comparison, and purchase orders. * Knowledge of shipping, importation, Incoterms, and SABER is preferred. * Experience in Power Generation, Generators, Electrical Panels, MEP, EPC, Construction, or Industrial Equipment is highly preferred. * Experience with ERP/Odoo, Excel, and Outlook. * Good command of Arabic and English. * Strong negotiation, organization, and supplier management skills. * Must be based in Riyadh.
