Procurement Officer

• Source, negotiate, and procure food items, consumables, packaging materials, and operational supplies. • Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and negotiate the best prices and payment terms. • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures. • Coordinate with kitchen, operations, warehouse, and finance departments to ensure timely delivery of materials. • Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted supply of essential items. • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved supplier database. • Ensure purchased products meet quality, food safety, and company standards. • Track market prices and identify opportunities for cost savings. • Resolve supplier delivery issues, shortages, or quality concerns. • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, invoices, and related documentation. • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE regulations. • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential. • Professional certifications such as Certified Professional Purchasing Officer (CPPO) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are highly valued. • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant procurement experience in a fast-paced environment is required. • Experience in a specific industry, such as manufacturing or construction, is preferred to understand sector-specific procurement needs.
