About the Role We are seeking a versatile, hands\-on professional based in Oman to manage end\-to\-end procurement, logistics coordination, customs clearing, and all import/export documentation for our trading operations. This is a hybrid role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment and can independently handle supplier negotiations, freight arrangements, and government paperwork from order placement to final delivery. Key Responsibilities **Procurement** * Source and negotiate with local and international suppliers for oilfield chemicals, equipment, and general industrial goods. * Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and manage supplier contracts and payment terms. * Maintain vendor database and evaluate supplier performance regularly. * Track order status and ensure timely delivery to meet project and client deadlines. **Logistics \& Freight Coordination** * Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments via sea, air, and land freight. * Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport providers to secure competitive rates and reliable service. * Plan and monitor shipment schedules, ensuring optimal routing and cost efficiency. * Handle cargo insurance arrangements when required. **Customs Clearing \& Compliance** * Prepare and submit all customs documentation for imports and exports (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, etc.). * Liaise with clearing agents and Royal Oman Police (ROP) Customs to ensure smooth clearance and avoid demurrage or penalties. * Ensure full compliance with Oman customs regulations, WTO trade rules, and any applicable sanctions or restricted goods lists. * Resolve customs queries, inspections, and disputes promptly. **Import/Export Documentation** * Draft, review, and manage all trade documentation including proforma invoices, letters of credit (L/C), bank guarantees, and shipping instructions. * Maintain accurate records of all transactions, customs entries, and correspondence for audit and legal compliance. * Ensure proper HS code classification for all products. * Handle Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and other regulatory filings as needed. **General Administration** * Maintain inventory records and coordinate with warehouse or storage facilities in Oman. * Support tender and bid documentation with logistics and procurement inputs. * Assist in cost analysis and reporting on landed costs, freight expenses, and procurement savings. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement, logistics, and customs clearing within Oman. * Deep working knowledge of Oman customs laws, import/export procedures, and port operations (Sohar, Salalah, Muscat). * Proficiency in Omani government portals (e.g., Bayan system, MOCI online services) and standard customs documentation. * Strong negotiation skills and existing relationships with freight forwarders and clearing agents in Oman. * Fluency in English; Arabic is highly preferred. * Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with ERP or inventory management systems. * Valid Omani residency and ability to work under Esnad Supplies LLC sponsorship if required. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in oilfield chemicals, industrial equipment, or trading company environments. * Familiarity with GCC\-wide logistics and cross\-border trade regulations. * Basic understanding of Incoterms 2020 and international shipping protocols. * Existing network of suppliers in the UAE, India, China, or Europe. * Hold a valid Oman driving license is an advantage.
