Procurement Engineer **Company:** Admax Gabion **Position:** Procurement Engineer **Department:** Procurement / Supply Chain /Logistics **Location:** UAE **Salary:** **AED 5,000–8,000 per month**, depending on experience and qualifications Job Summary Admax Gabion is seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented **Procurement Engineer** to manage the sourcing and procurement of materials, products, equipment, and services required for our gabion,Fence \& engineering, and construction\-related projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations, negotiating commercial terms, monitoring purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers. * Source materials and products according to project specifications and technical requirements. * Request and compare supplier quotations, technical offers, and commercial proposals. * Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other commercial conditions. * Prepare and issue purchase orders and procurement documentation. * Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Projects, Warehouse, and Finance teams. * Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and material requirements. * Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. * Monitor partial and complete deliveries and communicate delays or changes. * Maintain an updated supplier database and identify cost\-saving opportunities. * Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, delivery, and service. * Ensure procured materials meet approved specifications and quality standards. * Coordinate inspections, certificates, approvals, and other required documentation. * Maintain accurate procurement records, quotations, POs, delivery notes, and supplier correspondence. * Support inventory planning and ensure critical materials are available when required. * Resolve procurement issues related to quality, delivery, shortages, and commercial matters. * Monitor market prices, lead times, material availability, and supplier trends. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. * **3–5 years of procurement experience**, preferably in construction, mechanical engineering, steel, wire mesh, gabion, or infrastructure industries. * Strong knowledge of technical materials and construction products. * Experience dealing with local and international suppliers. * Strong negotiation and commercial skills. * Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems. * Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping, logistics, and import procedures is an advantage. * Excellent communication, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and work under pressure.
