Procurement Engineer **Company:** Alpha Plus Specialized Construction **Location:** Riyadh, Saudi Arabia **Job Type:** Full\-time Job Summary We are seeking a **Procurement Engineer** to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials according to project requirements. Key Responsibilities * Manage the complete procurement process for construction and project\-related materials. * Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors. * Obtain and compare quotations based on price, quality, specifications, and delivery schedules. * Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions. * Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up on deliveries. * Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, and material requirements. * Coordinate with engineering, project, production, logistics, and finance teams. * Ensure materials are procured according to approved specifications and required quality standards. * Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery to project sites. * Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, quotation comparisons, and purchase documentation. * Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. * Identify cost\-saving opportunities and alternative sources of materials. * Follow up on pending orders and resolve procurement and delivery issues. * Support the team in maintaining an efficient and cost\-effective procurement process. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in **Engineering** or a related field. * Previous experience in **procurement/purchasing**, preferably within the construction, fit\-out, exhibition, events, or contracting industry. * Good knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and related suppliers. * Ability to understand **BOQs, drawings, specifications, and technical requirements**. * Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Good knowledge of **Microsoft Office, especially Excel**. * Strong organizational and follow\-up skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * **Must be currently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.** Experience **2–5 years of relevant experience** in procurement or procurement engineering is preferred.
