Preschool Aide

**Position Summary:** This position focuses on assisting the supervisor and handling the front office when needed, while ensuring the playroom remains a safe, fun, and orderly environment for the children. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Supervise the Playroom:** Watch the children closely to ensure they are playing safely, sharing toys, and following basic rules. Step in gently to comfort upset children or stop arguments. * **Deal with Parents:** Greet parents during drop\-off and pick\-up times. Process child check\-ins and check\-outs securely and handle basic questions with a friendly attitude. * **Front Office Support:** Assist by answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and handling light paperwork when assigned to the front desk. * **Substitute Teaching:** Step into the classroom as a temporary teacher when a regular staff member is absent, following the planned lesson outline and maintaining standard classroom order.
