Presales Engineer – Infrastructure

We are seeking a skilled Presales Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure solution design, server and compute sizing, and requirement analysis based on RFPs. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales team to develop effective technical solutions, prepare proposals, support customer presentations, and conduct proof\-of\-concept activities. In addition, the role will involve supporting the technical team in troubleshooting, customer visits, health checks, and preventive maintenance activities. **Key Responsibilities** · Analyze customer requirements from RFPs, RFIs, and technical discussions. · Design and propose infrastructure solutions including servers, storage, virtualization, backup, networking, and compute environments. · Collaborate with the sales team to prepare technical responses, solution documents, and presentations. · Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and POCs for customers. · Support solution validation, sizing, and bill of materials preparation. · Engage with customers to understand business and technical needs and translate them into suitable solutions. · Work with vendors and distributors to align solution offerings with customer requirements. · Assist in bid support, technical clarification, and pre\-sales documentation. · Support the technical team with troubleshooting activities when required. · Visit customers for health checks, preventive maintenance, and technical support services. **Technical Requirements** · Strong understanding of server and compute infrastructure, including sizing, performance, and capacity planning. · Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper\-V, and Nutanix AHV. · Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, and similar platforms. · Familiarity with enterprise server platforms from Dell EMC, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco UCS, and Supermicro. · Exposure to storage technologies such as SAN, NAS, HCI, and enterprise data center architectures. · Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, firewalls, and load balancing. · Understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructure concepts, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and private cloud environments. · Experience with security and monitoring tools, including endpoint protection, infrastructure monitoring, and backup validation. · Knowledge of AI and GPU\-based infrastructure solutions, including NVIDIA platforms and accelerator environments. · Familiarity with solutions from Sangfor and other related infrastructure vendors. **Required Skills and Experience** · **Minimum 4 years of work experience in a Pre\-Sales role.** · Ability to perform server and compute requirement analysis and sizing. · Experience in solution design and pre\-sales technical support. · Strong communication, presentation, and customer\-facing skills. · Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and manage multiple opportunities. · Hands\-on experience in troubleshooting and supporting customer infrastructure environments. · Willingness to visit customer sites for health checks and preventive maintenance.
