POS Systems Integration Specialist **Company:** Syspos Warm up **Location:** Sohar, Al Batinah North Governorate, Oman **Area:** Sohar Downtown **Salary:** OMR 1,550 per month **Job Type:** Full\-time Job Overview Syspos Warm up is seeking a technically skilled **POS Systems Integration Specialist** to support the integration, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of point\-of\-sale systems. The successful candidate will work with business teams, software providers, hardware vendors, and IT personnel to ensure POS solutions operate reliably and integrate effectively with payment, inventory, accounting, and other business systems. Key Responsibilities * Configure, integrate, deploy, and maintain POS systems across business locations. * Coordinate POS integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, accounting platforms, CRM solutions, and other business applications. * Analyze integration requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions. * Troubleshoot POS hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. * Conduct system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing before deployment. * Support installation and configuration of POS terminals, peripherals, printers, scanners, and related equipment. * Monitor system performance and investigate integration errors or transaction failures. * Work with software vendors and third\-party providers to resolve technical issues. * Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, integration specifications, and support procedures. * Assist with data mapping, API integrations, and system configuration where required. * Train users and provide technical support for POS\-related issues. * Implement system updates, patches, and configuration changes while minimizing operational disruption. * Ensure POS systems follow applicable security and data\-protection practices. * Provide regular reports on system performance, incidents, and integration activities. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience with POS systems, system integration, technical support, or enterprise application deployment. * Strong understanding of POS hardware, software, networking, payment systems, and database concepts. * Experience with APIs, data integration, web services, or middleware is highly desirable. * Familiarity with retail, hospitality, restaurant, or payment technology environments is an advantage. * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and customer\-service abilities. * Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with technical and non\-technical teams. * Willingness to travel to client or business locations when required.
