Pool Technician

**Position:** Pool Technician **Industry:** Landscaping / Swimming Pool Maintenance **Location:** Abu Dhabi, UAE **Employment Type:** Full\-Time / Site\-Based Position Overview The Pool Technician will be responsible for the **operation, maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair of swimming pools and associated equipment** to ensure proper water quality, hygiene, safety, and efficient system performance. Key Responsibilities * Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools. * Monitor and maintain proper **water quality, pH, chlorine, and chemical levels**. * Operate and maintain pool pumps, filters, motors, chlorinators, and control systems. * Clean and backwash filters and inspect circulation systems. * Check water levels, circulation, filtration, and chemical dosing systems. * Identify and troubleshoot leaks, pump faults, filtration issues, and other pool equipment problems. * Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs related to pool systems. * Handle and store pool chemicals safely in accordance with HSE requirements. * Maintain pool surroundings, including basic cleaning of decks, drains, and equipment areas. * Conduct preventive maintenance and report major technical issues to the supervisor. * Maintain daily maintenance records and chemical usage logs. * Follow all company, client, and site safety procedures. Qualifications \& Experience * ITI / Diploma in **Pool Technology, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or a related technical trade** is preferred. * **2–5 years of relevant experience** in swimming pool maintenance. * Good knowledge of pool filtration, circulation, pumps, and chemical treatment. * Ability to perform basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting. * Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors. * UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
