The role ensures that all systems and subsystems are safely commissioned, tested, and handed over in full compliance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and regulatory requirements. The position plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition from construction completion to full operational readiness while maintaining the highest standards of HSE, quality, and performance. Wood is a global leader in consulting, engineering and operations for the energy and materials sectors. Expected: Bachelor s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process Engineering Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas projects with at least 5 years in commissioning roles on major offshore projects Proven experience working in PMC roles on ADNOC or similar Middle East offshore developments Strong knowledge of commissioning processes including pre-commissioning, systemization, testing, and start-up Familiarity with ADNOC standards, offshore HSE requirements, and permit-to-work systems Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary commissioning teams in a complex offshore environment Experience in SIMOPS, live plant commissioning, and brownfield integration is highly preferred Strong coordination and interface management skills with EPC contractors and operations teams Proficiency in commissioning management systems, completion tools, and reporting platforms Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
