Job description
Installation of water pipework systems within site, using appropriate materials suitable for the task.
Repair of water carrying pipework systems, including fittings and fixtures as and when necessary.
Operation and maintenance of pumps and water treatment systems, including hot / cold water systems and similar systems.
Responsible for carrying out hot work, (welding / brazing), operations on piping / plumbing systems and integrated components, ensuring integrity of repair and observation of all safety procedures throughout repair process.
Preparation of draft sketches / layouts of new plumbing / piping works and estimation of materials and labour contents involved.
Tracing and analysis of problems within on-site plumbing systems to identify cause and implement repair procedures.
Reading and interpretation of works requirements from drawings sketches and O & M manuals.
Assisting in the execution of the training program among Saudi Trainees, whenever required;
Working with limited supervision.
Care and maintenance of all specialized tools and/or equipments allocated either as long-term loan or personal issue.
Adhering to ACGC / Client Tool Control Procedures, as and when required.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues;
Performance of other tasks as delegated by Mechanical Supervisor.
High school or vocational Graduate , relevant to respective field (Plumbing or equivalent experience)
Candidates must have relevant experience in Operations and Maintenance projects
Knowledge of Hot / cold water pipe-works installations;Standard plumbing hand-tools, materials and equipment used within plumbing maintenance; repair and construction work.Appropriate safety procedures involved within the requirements of plumbing maintenance; repair and construction work.
Minimum of 3-years work experience as Plumber/Pipe-fitter preferably in Operation & Maintenance within Power Plants; Manufacturing Plants or Water and Sewage Treatment Plants.
Not more than 50 years old.
