Blue Rhine Industries is seeking a highly organized and analytical Planning Engineer to support the successful planning, monitoring, and execution of projects across our Signage, Construction, and AV divisions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, tracking progress, analyzing project performance, and ensuring timely project delivery through effective planning and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project .
• Prepare baseline schedules, progress updates, look-ahead plans, and recovery schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Design, Production, Procurement, and Site teams to obtain accurate planning inputs.
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis to monitor project cost and schedule performance.
• Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims with supporting documentation and delay analysis.
• Identify project delays, risks, and critical path impacts, and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure project planning activities align with contractual milestones, client requirements, and execution timelines.
• Maintain accurate planning records, project documentation, and schedule revisions.
• Support project review meetings by presenting schedule updates and performance analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of planning and scheduling experience in Construction, Signage, MEP, Infrastructure, Interior Fit-Out, or AV projects .
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project .
• Knowledge of project planning methodologies, critical path analysis, and project controls.
• Experience in preparing EOT claims and delay analysis is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, communication, and coordination skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and execution methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
