Job description

The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence\-based physiotherapy treatments to patients, with a particular focus on manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), post\-operative rehabilitation, and maderotherapy/body contouring therapies. The successful candidate will provide safe, high\-quality patient care in accordance with Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) regulations, professional standards, and clinic policies. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. * Provide Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) for patients with lymphedema, post\-operative swelling, and edema management. * Deliver post\-operative rehabilitation for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery patients, including liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast surgery, and other aesthetic procedures. * Perform maderotherapy (wood therapy) for body contouring, lymphatic stimulation, and cellulite reduction where clinically indicated. * Apply appropriate manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises. * Educate patients on home exercise programs, self\-care techniques, and recovery plans. * Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly. * Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Patient Care * Ensure patient safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times. * Obtain informed consent before treatment. * Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment goals and expected outcomes. * Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution. * Valid license/eligibility to practice as a Physiotherapist in Qatar (DHP/MOPH) or eligibility to obtain licensure. * Certification or documented training in **Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)**. * Certification or formal training in **Maderotherapy (Wood Therapy)** is highly desirable. Experience * Minimum **3 years of clinical physiotherapy experience**. * Demonstrated experience in: * Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) * Post\-operative physiotherapy following plastic and reconstructive surgery * Maderotherapy (Wood Therapy) * Edema and lymphedema management * Manual therapy techniques Skills \& Competencies * Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Professional appearance and patient\-centered approach. * Good documentation and computer skills. * Commitment to continuous professional development. Language Requirements * **Arabic speaker preferred.** * Good command of English (spoken and written) is required. Preferred Candidate Profile * Experience working in aesthetic, plastic surgery, dermatology, or wellness clinics. * Knowledge of post\-cosmetic surgery rehabilitation protocols. * Strong patient education and customer service skills.
