Pharmacist (Procurement) – Oman

Position: Pharmacist – Procurement Location: Muscat, Oman Department: Procurement \& Supply Chain **Job Summary:** We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Pharmacist – Procurement to manage the procurement of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and healthcare supplies. The ideal candidate will ensure timely sourcing, regulatory compliance, inventory optimization, and supplier coordination to support business operations. **Key Responsibilities:*** Source and procure pharmaceutical products, medical consumables, and healthcare\-related items. * Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely deliveries. * Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement activities to prevent stock shortages. * Ensure all procured products comply with Oman Ministry of Health regulations and company standards. * Review purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements. * Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. * Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and operations teams regarding stock requirements. * Monitor product expiry dates and manage stock replenishment effectively. * Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. * Support regulatory and audit requirements related to pharmaceutical procurement. **Requirements:*** Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. * Valid Oman Pharmacist License or eligibility to obtain one. * 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations. * Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare regulations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. * Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
