Job description

The **Payroll \& Admin Officer** is responsible for payroll processing and day\-to\-day HR and administrative activities, including employee records, benefits and entitlements, HR\-related expenses, company insurance, utilities, and travel arrangements. The role ensures accurate records, timely processing, and effective coordination with relevant departments and service providers. Key Responsibilities **Payroll \& HR Administration** * Prepare and process monthly payroll, including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and other approved adjustments. * Maintain accurate employee, attendance, leave, and payroll records in the HRMS. * Monitor and maintain employee benefits and entitlements, including leave, allowances, air tickets, and other applicable benefits. * Process leave settlements, final settlements, and other employee\-related payments. * Prepare standard HR documents and correspondence. * Monitor employee contracts, probation periods, and document expiry dates. * Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and other HR administrative requirements. * Maintain accurate and confidential employee and payroll records. **Finance\-Related Administration** * Manage HR petty cash, reimbursements, and supporting documentation. * Review and reconcile HR and Administration\-related company card statements and transactions. * Coordinate with Finance on payroll, payments, and HR\-related expenses. **Insurance, Utilities \& General Administration** * Monitor and coordinate the renewal and administration of company insurance policies. * Manage and monitor company utility and service accounts, including electricity, water, telecommunications, and internet. * Coordinate and arrange employee air ticket bookings and approved business travel in accordance with company policy. * Maintain trackers for payments, renewals, contracts, insurance, utilities, and other administrative requirements. * Liaise with employees, internal departments, vendors, and external service providers as required. * Maintain proper records and supporting documentation for administrative transactions. * Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned. **Qualifications \& Skills** * Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in payroll, HR administration, or general administration. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and HR/payroll systems. * Strong numerical, organizational, and reconciliation skills. * High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Ability to handle confidential information professionally. * Knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and local payroll practices is an advantage
