Pastry Commis

We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and passionate **Pastry Commis** to join our team at a high\-end restaurant in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in pastry and baking, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop their skills in a professional kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities * Assist the pastry team with daily preparation and production. * Prepare ingredients and basic pastry preparations according to recipes. * Assist with desserts, pastries, cakes, and other baked products. * Support the team with mise en place before service. * Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section. * Properly store and label ingredients and prepared products. * Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures. * Assist with stock rotation and minimize food wastage. * Support the pastry team during busy service periods. * Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times. Main Requirements * Previous experience as a **Pastry Commis** or in a similar pastry kitchen role is preferred. * Culinary or pastry training is an advantage. * Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques. * Passion for pastry and willingness to learn. * Good attention to detail and cleanliness. * Ability to work as part of a team. * Positive attitude and strong work ethic. * Ability to work in a fast\-paced kitchen environment. * Good communication skills. * Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
