Operator – Pump

• Operate and monitor various types of pumps and associated equipment to ensure efficient fluid transfer and process flow. • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on pump systems, identifying and addressing potential issues before they cause downtime. • Troubleshoot and diagnose operational problems with pumps, such as leaks, unusual noises, or performance degradation, implementing corrective actions. • Start and stop pumps according to established procedures and operational schedules, ensuring system stability and safety. • High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in mechanics or related field is a plus. • Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., forklift operation, confined space entry) is highly desirable. • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining pumps in an industrial or manufacturing setting. • Familiarity with centrifugal, positive displacement, and other common pump types is essential.
