Operations Officer, Branch Procedures

Business Specific: * Follow up with branches to ensure compliance of policies \& procedures prescribed for Branch GL’s \& suspense accounts. * Follow up on Minors and PIV/PIN accounts until regularizing these accounts as per the bank policies and procedures. * Ensure the custody of supporting documents of all GL exceptions. * Follow up with branches on due write\-off, write/back and clean up on outstanding entries in branch GLs. * Monitor the “RD” cheques report, ensuring the collection fees and issuance of warning letters to customers as per CBK guidelines. * Follow\-up with branches on the closure of accounts with 3 or more RD cheques within 12 months. * Escalate all un\-reconciled entries and pending issues highlighting risks and gaps, to ensure compliance of policies and procedures. * Prepare letters for PAMA / PIFSS advising on a/c closure and fund transfer, and execute holds on deceased accounts in case of existing liabilities. * Manage the updates on CID details on newly granted loans/credit cards for accounts with missing CID details. * Monitor the activated Dormant and Dormant\-Unclaimed accounts by branches on daily basis. * Prepare the Charity Accounts' transfers and Al Amil Accounts to CBK. * Prepare the quarterly report for Tellers' Cash Allowance Report. * Monitor used collateral amounts against GB liabilities until rectification. * Conduct CBK Black List Check for all new current accounts opened/cheque books requested the previous day against CBK Black List System. * Provide support for branches' inquiries on all branch procedures through a dedicated email for this purpose. **Generic:** Work within defined policies and procedures and adhere to compliance regulations.
