OPERATIONS MANAGER – CARPENTRY & JOINERY FACTORY

**Location:** Doha, Qatar **Employment Type:** Full\-Time Job Description We are looking for an experienced **Operations Manager** to oversee the overall operations of our **carpentry and joinery factory**, including production, manpower, procurement coordination, quality control, logistics, and project delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in **carpentry, joinery, and interior fit\-out projects**, with proven ability to manage factory operations and coordinate effectively with project and site teams. Key Responsibilities * Manage the overall **day\-to\-day operations of the carpentry and joinery factory**. * Plan and coordinate production activities based on project requirements and delivery schedules. * Coordinate between **factory, site, design, procurement, and project management teams**. * Monitor production capacity, manpower, materials, machinery, and project priorities. * Ensure joinery works are manufactured according to **approved shop drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules**. * Oversee production of doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall cladding, counters, reception desks, furniture, and bespoke carpentry works. * Monitor production progress and ensure timely delivery to project sites. * Control material usage, wastage, productivity, and operational costs. * Supervise factory supervisors, carpenters, machine operators, assemblers, painters, polishers, and helpers. * Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of required materials. * Implement quality control procedures and ensure finished products meet project requirements. * Coordinate logistics, transportation, loading, and delivery of finished joinery items. * Identify operational problems and implement effective corrective actions. * Monitor project priorities and allocate factory resources accordingly. * Prepare regular operational and production reports for management. * Ensure compliance with company **HSE, quality, and operational procedures**. * Lead and motivate the factory team to achieve productivity and delivery targets. Requirements * **Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience** in carpentry, joinery, and interior fit\-out. * Proven experience in an **Operations Manager / Factory Manager / Production Manager** role. * Strong knowledge of **carpentry and bespoke joinery manufacturing**. * Strong understanding of interior fit\-out projects and site requirements. * Ability to read and understand **shop drawings and technical drawings**. * Excellent knowledge of MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, HPL, solid wood, and other joinery materials. * Strong leadership, planning, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * Experience managing manpower, production schedules, materials, and multiple projects. * Strong understanding of factory workflow and production processes. * **Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.** * Good command of English.
