You do.* **DHL Global Forwarding** has an opening for an **OFR Operations Specialist** in **Jeddah, Saudi Arabia****.** Build and Develop trade lane consolidations for South African export traffic. Engage with the Global DGF network to promote and develop the Gateway for neighboring countries and local coastal branches. Coordinate day to day operations within the Airfreight Gateway. Assist \& support ACC Manager in rate \& capacity procurement as required Join us in connecting people and improving lives! **In this Ocean Freight Specialist position** * Implement OFR Ops/CS plans and processes to provide ocean freight services for internal and external customers * Analyze and collate to provide requirements of freight control center, and to support and provide operations team with the required details, information and instructions for operational performance * Coordinate freight administration in providing allocation and reservations of freight on planned line haul * Contribute to develop and execute plans for ocean freight products in areas such as perishables, pharmaceutical, aviation, etc. * Identify opportunities to expand business with new clients and continuously improve in\-house customer services * Build close business relationship with existing clients, conduct customer visits and maintain a desired level of customer retention * Stay updated on account performances, draft and provide monthly reports to management * Implement pricing strategy and respond to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner * Deliver day\-to\-day shipment documentation for freight forwarding, assist in development of shipping tenders and ensure on\-time submission on relevant documents * Seek opportunities to enhance ocean freight productivity, and efficient resource allocation and utilization * Analyze and provide input for processes and design systems to enhance service quality * Resolve and analyze issues in day\-to\-day delivery and implement practices for OFR Ops/CS focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency * Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/ new team members, provide direction and guidance as needed In area of OFR product: * Create and/or confirm transport orders, perform and optimize bookings * Prepare, control, and distribute all required Import/Export documents * Identify performance issues of suppliers, and propose solutions to improve performance * Update Customs shipment information and physical status, resolve customer issues and incidents **Now, here is what we need from you!** **Education Level** Bachelors Degree **Experience Level** more than 6 years **We offer:** * Opportunities in a global company where you can contribute your ideas and skills to move towards our shared goals. * Possible further career development * Competitive salary **Why join DHL Global Forwarding?** We are part of Deutsche Post DHL, the world’s leading logistics provider with operations in over 220 countries.
