Obstetrics & Gynecology

1\. Clinical Care \& Consultation * Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, diagnoses, and outpatient consultations for gynecological and obstetric conditions. * Provide routine prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care to ensure positive maternal and fetal health outcomes. * Counsel patients on family planning, contraception, reproductive health, menopause management, and preventive screenings (e.g., Pap smears, HPV testing, mammograms). 2\. Surgical \& Procedural Care * Perform normal spontaneous vaginal deliveries, assisted deliveries (vacuum/forceps), and elective or emergency Caesarean sections. * Execute minor and major gynecological surgeries, including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, myomectomy, and ovarian cystectomy. * Perform office\-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (e.g., colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, intrauterine device insertions/removals). 3\. Emergency \& High\-Risk Management * Manage obstetric emergencies (e.g., postpartum hemorrhage, eclampsia, placental abruption, ectopic pregnancy) in compliance with safety standards and protocols. * Collaborate with Maternal\-Fetal Medicine (MFM) experts, neonatologists, and anesthetists to manage high\-risk pregnancies and complex medical comorbidities. * Participate in the departmental on\-call rotation schedule for emergency coverage and labor ward admissions. 4\. Patient Communication \& Safety * Communicate complex diagnoses, treatment plans, and surgical risks clearly and empathetically to patients and their families. * Maintain complete, precise, and timely medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. * Adhere strictly to hospital clinical guidelines, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.
