Newborn Care Specialist / Maternity Nurse Assistant /Nanny

Experienced Newborn \& Infant Nanny Location: Qurum, MuscatStart Date: October 2026Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing hours laterSalary: To be discussed based on experience and qualifications We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified nanny to care for our 3\-month\-old baby. This position is specifically suited to someone with a professional background in newborn/infant care, maternity nursing, pediatric or neonatal care, early childhood education, or nursery/daycare settings. Requirements * Proven professional experience caring for newborns and very young infants * A relevant diploma or professional qualification in childcare, early childhood education, nursing, maternity/newborn care, or a related field * Previous experience working in a nursery, daycare, maternity setting, hospital, or professional childcare environment is highly preferred * Strong knowledge of newborn and infant care, including feeding, bottle preparation and sterilization, bathing, safe sleep, soothing, and age\-appropriate routines * Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certification is a strong advantage * Good spoken English * Reliable, responsible, patient, and genuinely passionate about working with babies * Professional references from a family, nursery, school, or childcare employer in Muscat are required * Candidates must be comfortable providing references and relevant qualifications upon request About the Position The role will initially be approximately 25–30 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours in the future. We are looking for someone who is professionally trained and genuinely experienced with newborns, rather than someone whose experience is limited to general household or domestic work.
