Job description

• Install and Configure Network Equipment • Set up routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network cabling. • Configure LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. • Monitor Network Performance • Continuously monitor network availability and performance. • Identify and resolve network bottlenecks and outages. • Ensure maximum uptime and reliability. • Troubleshoot Network Issues • Diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity problems. • Resolve internet, server, and communication issues. • Provide technical support to employees experiencing network-related problems. • Maintain Network Security • Configure and manage firewalls and intrusion prevention systems. • Implement security policies and access controls. • Monitor for cyber threats and respond to security incidents. • Apply security patches and firmware updates. • Manage User Accounts and Access • Create, modify, and remove user accounts. • Assign appropriate network permissions. • Support authentication services such as Active Directory. • Perform Network Maintenance • Upgrade network hardware and software. • Replace faulty equipment. • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. • Backup and Disaster Recovery • Maintain backup systems for network configurations and critical data. • Develop and test disaster recovery procedures. • Restore network services after failures or disasters. • Document Network Infrastructure • Maintain network diagrams and configuration records. • Document IP addressing schemes, device inventories, and procedures. • Keep maintenance and incident logs up to date. • Support Servers and Network Services • Manage services such as DNS, DHCP, VPN, email, and file sharing. • Ensure servers and network applications operate efficiently. • Plan Network Expansion • Evaluate future networking requirements. • Recommend hardware and software upgrades. • Assist in designing scalable network infrastructure. • Ensure Compliance • Follow organizational IT policies and industry standards. • Help ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations. • Coordinate with Vendors • Work with internet service providers and equipment vendors. • Arrange repairs, replacements, and technical support. • Evaluate new networking technologies and solutions. • Preferred candidate profile Qualification : B. E., (or) B. Sc., Computer Science (4/3 Years Full Time Course). CCNA Certification is Must. Experience : Minimum 6 Years Experience in Network Administrator role. Good communication skills / computer skills (MS Office). Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching, Knowledge of best practices around management, control & monitoring of server infrastructure. Experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is Mandatory. Ability to set up and configure server hardware. Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
