Dedicated Application Developer – On\-Site **Location:** Muscat, Oman **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Client:** CCED Oman **Project:** Application Development \& Enhancement Services About the Role We are looking for experienced **Application Developers** to support CCED Oman’s Information Systems (IS) team in delivering application development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance services. The role is available in **On\-Site and Remote** arrangements, depending on the approved service requirement. Key Responsibilities * Analyze business and technical requirements and support solution design, development, configuration, integration, and testing. * Develop and enhance enterprise applications based on approved requirements and priorities. * Maintain traceability across requirements, design, source code, testing, defects, and deployment records. * Follow secure coding practices aligned with **OWASP** and applicable cybersecurity standards. * Maintain source code, scripts, database objects, and configurations in approved repositories. * Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, data models, and user/administrator guides. * Participate in code reviews, testing, UAT, release management, and deployment activities. * Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues. * Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders and participate in meetings, reviews, and knowledge\-transfer sessions. * Provide regular progress/status reports covering deliverables, risks, dependencies, defects, and upcoming activities. Required Qualifications \& Experience * Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology**, or a related field. * Minimum **5 years of relevant professional software development experience**. * **6\+ years of experience** for senior/key personnel or lead\-level positions. * Strong hands\-on experience in one or more of the following: * **ASP.NET Framework 4\.x / C\#** * **ASP.NET Web Forms / MVC** * **Microsoft SQL Server / T\-SQL** * **Node.js** * **Entity Framework** * **RESTful APIs / SOAP / WSDL** * **Angular / React** * **Microsoft Power BI** * **Qlik Sense** * **Python** * Web\-based mapping, charting, and dashboard libraries * Experience with integrations such as **Esri ArcGIS, OpenText ECM, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion, or Intelex** will be an advantage. * Experience in **Oil \& Gas, Energy, or other operationally critical industries** is preferred. * Good spoken and written English communication skills. For On\-Site Developers Candidates must: * Be willing and eligible to work **on\-site in Muscat, Oman**. * Be comfortable working directly with the client's IS team. * Follow client\-specific governance, security, architecture, and change\-management procedures.
