NDT Tube Inspection Lead

#### **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **NDT Tube Inspection Lead** to oversee and execute tube inspection activities during refinery, petrochemical, LNG, and industrial shutdown projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading inspection teams, coordinating with clients, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and delivering high\-quality inspection services safely and efficiently. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and supervise tube inspection activities using various NDT techniques. * Plan, coordinate, and execute inspections of heat exchangers, boilers, condensers, fin\-fan coolers, and pressure equipment. * Perform and oversee: + IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System) + RFET (Remote Field Eddy Current Testing) + ECT (Eddy Current Testing) + NFT (Near Field Testing) + Visual Inspection (VT) + Tube Mapping and Data Analysis * Review inspection procedures, project specifications, and client requirements. * Ensure proper calibration and functionality of inspection equipment. * Analyze inspection data and prepare technical reports with recommendations. * Coordinate daily activities with client representatives and site management. * Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit requirements, and company HSE standards. * Supervise technicians and provide technical guidance during field operations. * Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of inspection scopes. * Participate in project planning, manpower allocation, and shutdown mobilization activities. * Maintain inspection records and documentation in accordance with company and client requirements. ### **Qualifications \& Requirements** * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. * Minimum **10 years of experience** in tube inspection and advanced NDT services within oil \& gas, petrochemical, refinery, or LNG industries. * Valid certification in NDT methods (ASNT Level II/III preferred). * Hands\-on experience with IRIS, RFET, ECT, and other tube inspection technologies. * Experience in leading shutdown and turnaround inspection projects. * Strong understanding of heat exchanger and boiler tube inspection practices. * Ability to interpret inspection results and provide technical recommendations. * Good communication, leadership, and reporting skills. * Familiarity with international standards and client specifications. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and inspection reporting software. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * ASNT Level II/III certifications. * Previous experience in QatarEnergy LNG, RasGas, QP, refinery, or petrochemical shutdown projects. * Valid offshore/onshore safety certifications. * Experience managing multicultural teams in high\-pressure shutdown environments ### **kills** * Leadership \& Team Management * Tube Inspection Technologies (IRIS, RFET, ECT, NFT) * Technical Reporting * Data Analysis * Client Coordination * Shutdown Planning \& Execution * Health, Safety \& Environment (HSE) Compliance * Problem Solving \& Decision Making **Employment Type:** Project\-Based / Shutdown Assignment (Extendable based on project requirements)
