MEP Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced **MEP Technician in Construction** to join our maintenance or construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, **ELECTRICAL**, and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure functionality, safety, and efficiency across the facility or project site. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Electrical Systems ( MAJOR )** * Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, distribution boards, and other equipment. * Diagnose faults and perform corrective repairs on electrical systems ensuring compliance with safety standards. * **Mechanical Systems:** * Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ductwork, and related controls. * Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for mechanical equipment. * **Plumbing Systems:** * Install and maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, sanitary fixtures, and irrigation systems. * Identify and repair leaks, clogs, or broken fixtures. * Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and MEP schematics. * Coordinate and communicate effectively with other trades and project stakeholders. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inspections. * Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company policies. * Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. **Qualifications and Experience:** * Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or relevant field. * Good to have more in exp in **Electrical background** * Plus **construction** * Minimum **3–5** years of hands\-on experience in MEP maintenance or **construction.** * Ability to use tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices relevant to MEP systems. * Excellent problem\-solving skills and attention to detail. * Good communication and teamwork skills.
