Job description

• Manage day-to-day operation and maintenance of MEP systems across multiple properties. • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV, and building management systems. • Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of works. • Conduct regular inspections of hotels, high-rise buildings, and other managed properties to identify operational issues and improvement opportunities. • Monitor energy consumption and recommend cost-effective and energy-efficient solutions. • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, safety standards, and statutory requirements. • Review technical reports, maintenance logs, and inspection records. • Assist in preparing annual maintenance budgets and monitor expenses. • Handle emergency maintenance situations and ensure minimum downtime of critical systems. • Evaluate contractor performance and ensure work quality meets company standards. • Support fit-out, renovation, and refurbishment projects related to MEP systems. • Maintain asset records, equipment warranties, and service schedules. • Coordinate with property management teams and tenants regarding MEP-related issues and resolutions. • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering. • Minimum 4–8 years of experience in MEP maintenance and facilities management within real estate, hotels, or high-rise buildings. • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, firefighting, and BMS operations. • Familiarity with local authority regulations and building compliance requirements. • Experience in managing contractors and maintenance teams. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and MEP layouts. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software. • UAE driving license is preferred. Preferred Skills • Experience in hospitality and commercial property maintenance. • Knowledge of energy management and sustainability practices. • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities. • Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities effectively.
