MEP Design Manager

Key Responsibilities Design Leadership: Oversee the complete MEP design process, from conceptual and schematic stages through detailed design and tender packages. Multidisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural, structural, and civil disciplines to eliminate on\-site clashes using tools like Revit and Navisworks. Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with national and local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards. Technical Review: Review and approve MEP drawings, specifications, material submittals, and engineering calculations (such as HVAC load and cable sizing). Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors. Team Mentorship: Lead, guide, and support internal teams of MEP engineers and BIM modelers.Qualifications \& Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services Engineering. Experience: 10 to 12\+ years of relevant experience in MEP design, coordination, or project management within the construction/real estate industry. Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Navisworks, and specialized engineering calculation software. Core Competencies: Deep understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire fighting systems, and value engineering principles. Company Accommodation will be provided.
