Medical Massage Therapist

**Mandatory Requirements:** * **Valid Qatar DHP License as a Massage Therapist is mandatory**. * Diploma or recognized certification in Massage Therapy. * **Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience** in a healthcare, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports medicine, or wellness setting in **Qatar**. * Strong practical experience in therapeutic massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and sports massage. * Strong patient communication and professional interpersonal skills. * Good knowledge of patient safety, hygiene, infection control, and professional boundaries. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide therapeutic massage treatments according to the Physiotherapist’s assessment and treatment plan. * Perform deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, Swedish, sports, and other therapeutic massage techniques. * Support pain management, muscle relaxation, flexibility, mobility, and soft tissue recovery. * Identify areas of muscle tension and soft tissue restriction and communicate relevant findings to the Physiotherapist. * Monitor patient response and adjust techniques appropriately within the approved scope of practice. * Work closely with Physiotherapists to support individualized rehabilitation plans. * Assist patients with appropriate stretching, posture, and self\-care techniques as directed by the Physiotherapist. * Maintain patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and professional boundaries throughout treatment. * Maintain proper hygiene, infection control, and cleanliness of treatment areas and equipment. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments provided and patient responses. * Report any unusual symptoms, adverse reactions, or patient concerns promptly to the Physiotherapist. * Follow clinical protocols, organizational policies, and Qatar healthcare regulations. * Participate in relevant training and continuous professional development. * Perform any other duties assigned by the Physiotherapist or management based on organizational requirements.
