Mechanical Technician

**Mechanical Technician** We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Technician to join our production and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery to ensure continuous, efficient plant operations. **Job Details** * **Industry:** Production \& Manufacturing * **Shift Duration:** 10\-hour duty daily * **Experience Required:** 2 to 3 years * **Benefits Included:** Free Food \& Accommodation provided by the company **Key Responsibilities** * Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, and mechanical systems. * Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes, and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime. * Install, assemble, and align new mechanical equipment and machine components. * Inspect, repair, or replace pumps, valves, bearings, gearboxes, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. * Collaborate with production operators to troubleshoot operational issues on the line. * Comply strictly with safety standards, proper PPE usage, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols. * Maintain clear logs of maintenance tasks, repairs performed, and spare parts inventory. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * **Education:** Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical certification. * **Experience:** 2 to 3 years of hands\-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment. * Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission. * Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and user manuals. * Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and basic shop tools. * Physical capability to stand for long shifts, lift equipment, and perform manual tasks in a factory environment. * Ability to commit to a 10\-hour daily work schedule.
