Mechanical Engineer – UPDA C

We are seeking an experienced **Mechanical Engineer** with **UPDA Category C certification** and proven experience in **interior fit\-out and construction projects**. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising mechanical works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and schedules. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate mechanical works for interior fit\-out and construction projects. * Manage **HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and other mechanical systems**. * Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical documents, and project specifications. * Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, civil, electrical, and other MEP disciplines. * Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. * Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality, and compliance with project requirements. * Attend inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities. * Identify and resolve technical and site\-related issues efficiently. * Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required standards. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in **Mechanical Engineering**. * **Valid UPDA Category C certification is mandatory.** * Proven experience in **interior fit\-out projects**. * Strong practical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and MEP coordination. * Experience with shop drawings, inspections, material approvals, testing, and commissioning. * Strong communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * **Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.** **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Only candidates with UPDA Category C and relevant fit\-out experience will be considered.** Work Location: In person
