Mechanical Engineer

**Location:** Qatar **Experience:** 5–8 Years GCC Experience **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering **Certification:** UPDA/MMUP Certified We are looking for an experienced **Mechanical Engineer** with strong GCC experience to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in mechanical engineering, project execution, site coordination, and technical documentation, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced construction/project environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare **material specifications** and support the selection of appropriate mechanical equipment in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. * Assist in **project budgeting, cost estimation, and material quantity evaluation**. * Ensure all mechanical works are executed in accordance with **approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements**. * Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, and overall work quality to ensure compliance with project standards. * Conduct regular **site inspections** and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to mechanical works. * Perform inspections, testing, and **commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment**. * Verify system performance, functionality, and compliance with approved design requirements. * Prepare **testing and commissioning reports**, checklists, and related documentation. * Ensure mechanical systems are operating **safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved specifications and applicable standards**. * Prepare and maintain **technical reports, engineering documentation, and project records**. * Review and evaluate **shop drawings, material submittals, technical submittals, and equipment documentation**. * Prepare and review **Operation \& Maintenance (O\&M) manuals** and handover documentation. * Maintain accurate **project records, as\-built drawings, inspection reports, testing records, and commissioning documentation**. * Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution. * Ensure compliance with relevant **Qatar regulations, engineering standards, quality requirements, and HSE procedures**.
