Mechanical Engineer-MEP

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer MEP to design, coordinate, supervise, and execute mechanical systems for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, ventilation, and other mechanical services while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local authority regulations. Key Responsibilities • Design and review HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems. • Prepare shop drawings, technical submittals, BOQ, and material specifications. • Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, civil teams, and contractors for smooth project execution. • Monitor site installation activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and standards. • Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP systems. • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, safety standards, and project requirements. • Review contractor progress and provide technical support during project execution. • Attend project meetings and prepare technical reports. • Evaluate material submittals and approve technical documentation. • Coordinate with procurement teams for equipment and material selection. • Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards. • Maintain project documentation, as-built drawings, and maintenance records. Requirements • Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum 4 8 years of experience in MEP projects. • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and ventilation systems. • Experience in high-rise, commercial, industrial, or modular construction projects preferred. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office. • Knowledge of local authority regulations and international standards. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and site activities effectively. Preferred Skills • Experience in BIM coordination. • Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and sustainability practices. • Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems. • Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.
