Mechanical Engineer - HVAC, Plumbing & Firefighting

Mechanical Engineer \- HVAC, Plumbing \& Firefighting (Site\-Based, Qatar) Mind Stream is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for a major buildings and infrastructure construction project. The role covers installation of client HVAC product ranges and general MEP building services, with mobilisation as soon as possible. Responsibilities: \- Supervise on\-site installation of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems per approved drawings and specifications \- Review and approve 2D shop drawings (AutoCAD) and material submittals for mechanical systems \- Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, plumbing, and civil trades to avoid clashes and ensure smooth execution \- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards \- Resolve RFIs and technical issues; liaise with subcontractors and suppliers on timely delivery and correct installation \- Review and verify as\-built drawings and O\&M manuals, and contribute to method statements and risk assessments Requirements: \- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent \- Proven site supervision experience across HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems on building projects \- Working knowledge of QCS 2014, Qatar Civil Defence fire safety regulations, ASHRAE, and SMACNA standards \- Hands\-on experience with chillers, VRF systems, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, and related HVAC equipment \- Proficiency in HAP, Elite, and AutoCAD Experience: 2\+ years Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Location: Lusail, Qatar Contract duration: 6 months from mobilisation, extendable Apply here: Email: careers@mind\-stream.net WhatsApp: 30107270 Work Location: In person
