Mechanical Engineer

**1\. Site Installation \& Execution** * Lead and supervise day\-to\-day on\-site mechanical installations, including HVAC (Chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units), Chilled Water Piping, Fire Fighting/Suppression systems, Plumbing, and Fuel Systems. * Ensure all installations strictly comply with approved shop drawings, project specifications, Method Statements (RAMS), and local regulations (e.g., QCS, QCDD, KAHRAMAA). * Resolve site\-level constructability issues, coordination clashes, and technical queries efficiently to prevent delays. **2\. Testing \& Commissioning (T\&C)** * Drive and directly oversee the Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) and functional testing of all critical mechanical systems. * Participate actively in integrated systems testing (IST) and factory/site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) for mission\-critical mechanical plant equipment. * Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive T\&C documentation, checklists, and handover packages. **3\. Quality Assurance \& Control (QA/QC)** * Conduct regular site inspections, raise Work Inspection Requests (WIR), and clear non\-conformance reports (NCRs) and snag lists prior to handover. * Ensure all materials delivered to the site match approved material submittals (MARs) and meet high\-quality standards. **4\. Subcontractor \& Stakeholder Coordination** * Manage site teams, sub\-contractors, and direct labor to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to project schedules. * Coordinate seamlessly with electrical, civil, and BMS/ELV teams for smooth interfaces and system integration. * Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and third\-party commissioning agents during site walks and inspections.
