Material Planner

Role & responsibilities Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent stock shortages or overstocking . Track material consumption and update inventory records in the ERP system (SAP MM/PP or similar). Work closely with the Production Planning team to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing. Coordinate with the Warehouse team for timely receipt, storage, and issuance of materials. Monitor supplier delivery schedules and resolve material shortages or delays. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly material planning and inventory reports. Analyze demand forecasts and adjust material plans accordingly. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and FIFO/FEFO inventory practices. Identify opportunities to reduce inventory costs and improve material availability.
