Paragon is supporting an international Oil & Gas company in the search for a Marketing Lead position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Marketing Lead is responsible for maximising the value of the company s hydrocarbon equity through effective, market-driven sales and export operations. This role manages the full commercial lifecycle of crude oil marketing from identifying optimal sales opportunities and negotiating favourable agreements, to coordinating export logistics and pricing strategy ensuring steady revenue generation while preventing production curtailment through proactive scheduling and stock management. Position Title : Marketing Lead Location : Dubai, UAE Job Purpose Manage the company s hydrocarbon equity. Maximise value for the company by ensuring effective marketing. Maintain a thorough understanding of market dynamics to identify multiple sales opportunities for the most advantageous outcomes. Oversees hydrocarbon export operations, focusing on the scheduling of loading and shipping logistics. Conclude agreements favourable to the company by leveraging market knowledge and negotiation skills. Coordinate all export activities efficiently to prevent loading delays or excessive stock buildup. Ensure that proactive management is in place to avoid production curtailment caused by export delays or high stock levels. Ensures optimal pricing and terms in all contractual negotiations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all marketing-related contracts and agreements, ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled and that agreements comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Oversee daily activities and workflows within the Marketing Department, ensuring smooth processes and consistent achievement of operational objectives. Conduct regular analysis of marketing performance, generate detailed reports to inform future planning, and identify areas for improvement. Monitor the performance of existing contracts, promptly identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle. Contribute to tenders for crude oil sales, transportation, inspector services, chemical treatment, and related activities alongside the Commercial and Procurement Department. Develop, support and maintain oil price policies and formulae, regularly monitoring, analyzing, and storing published price data (e.g., Platts) to inform pricing strategies. Oversee financial components of Oil and Gas sales contracts, including invoice preparation, issuance, and credit risk instrument management for accurate administration and risk mitigation. Support with any additional responsibilities as assigned by management, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to business needs. Development, coordination, and maintenance of strong collaborative relationships within the Group, especially with operations, finance, legal, and management teams, supporting seamless communication and alignment of objectives. Maintains consistent communication with team members to support planning, prioritization of tasks, and accomplishment of objectives, ensuring that all activities are aligned with evolving operational requirements. Regularly engage with external stakeholders, including government authorities, to ensure compliance and foster constructive relationships. Consistent interaction with current and potential customers, aimed at building and strengthening essential commercial partnerships for the Group s success. Collaboration with industry peers to share best practices and market intelligence, and engagement with specialists from various disciplines to support marketing and operational activities. • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Business Management or closely related discipline. • Minimum 10 years of experience in Marketing, Business Management, Business development or closely related discipline, across a diverse range of Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas. • Good understanding of market cross-functional and stakeholder dynamics in large and complex markets.
