Parsons is looking for an Marine Inspector to join our Island Construction Project team. In this role, you will support the delivery of coastal, waterfront, and associated infrastructure works by inspecting and monitoring day-to-day construction activities and coordinating closely with the construction, quality, survey, and HSE teams. What You'll Be Doing • Support coastal, waterfront, and infrastructure works through day-to-day inspection and monitoring • Inspect civil and marine works: Quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, revetments, quay decks, pontoons, and other marine structures • Dredging, reclamation, and marine ground improvement activities • Roads, utilities, drainage, and associated infrastructure in the marine/coastal zone • Verify construction is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, project specifications, and relevant standards • Inspect marine and civil finishes including protective coatings, marine-grade concrete, corrosion protection systems, joint details, quay fenders, bollards, ladders, and embedded items • Coordinate with Surveyors to check setting-out, levels, and alignments for marine and coastal structures • Monitor HSE aspects related to inspection activities, including work over water and vessel-based operations, and report unsafe conditions • Perform other related duties as assigned Technical diploma or degree in a related field with a minimum of 5-7 years experience on marine / coastal / port / waterfront and utilities projects. Hands-on experience in inspection of Marine structures (quay walls, breakwaters, revetments, jetties, etc.), Civil and infrastructure works (roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks). Has to have UAE experience Desired Skills • Familiarity with local authority requirements and regional standards related to marine, coastal, and port works, as well as roads and utilities. • Experience on projects involving Ports, harbors, marinas, coastal protection, or waterfront developments. • Proactive approach to identifying quality issues in civil and marine works and driving timely resolution.
