Manager - Operations

Manage the overall operations in Fujairah Terminal, develop initiatives, monitor operations productivity level, enforce compliance, control the availability of materials and equipment, and review operational policies and procedures to achieve departmental objectives. Educational and Technical Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Maritime and Ports, Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus Ports & Maritime Certificate is a plus. Language Skills: Excellent English. Arabic is an added advantage Years of Experience: A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a similar role Nature of Experience: Experience in operations management roles in seaports (container, multipurposed terminals). Full understanding of the container / GC cargo shipping industry Able to provide leadership and obtain cooperation and assistance to meet objectives within a multi-cultural environment. Hands-on understanding and experience of modern terminal operations. Experience and understanding of vessel and yard planning. Strong communication skills Experience in finance-related matters, budgeting, and defense figures. Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
