Job description

Job Responsibilities • Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, and Balance Sheet. • Prepare and submit periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports, ageing reports, cash flow reports, and other financial analyses required by Management. • Process payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines. • Perform Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), bank, general ledger, and account reconciliations on a regular basis. • Manage supplier payments and ensure timely settlement of accounts payable. • Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, including Corporate Tax (CT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and other regulatory obligations. • Prepare, review, and submit statutory returns and supporting documentation within prescribed deadlines. • Verify and review financial transactions, tax invoices, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. • Record and maintain all accounting transactions with a high degree of accuracy and completeness. • Prepare financial analyses, variance reports, and reconciliations to support management decision-making. • Maintain and monitor security deposit records and other financial registers where applicable. • Finalize accounts and ensure timely closure of monthly and annual financial records. • Coordinate with external auditors by providing financial records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation during audits. • Regularly review accounting processes, internal controls, and financial systems, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency. • Ensure all financial records are properly maintained, organized, and readily available for audit and statutory compliance. • Respond promptly to finance-related queries and provide accurate information and support to internal and external stakeholders. • Complete all assigned reports and financial deliverables within agreed timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvements and organizational objectives. • Perform any other accounting, finance, or administrative duties assigned by Management from time to time. Desired Candidate Profile • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE. • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax (CT), and accounting standards. • Proficient in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel. • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills. • Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and organizational skills. • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision. • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
