Job description

The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily transportation operations, including fleet and driver supervision, fuel management, route planning, vehicle utilization, and operational reporting. The role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective logistics operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the fleet, including trucks and drivers. • Monitor driver attendance, schedules, performance, and discipline. • Plan, assign, and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely transportation. • Manage fuel consumption, maintain fuel records, and control fuel costs. • Prepare and submit daily operational reports, including truck movements, trip status, fuel usage, and vehicle utilization. • Track vehicle availability and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs. • Ensure all trucks have valid registrations, permits, insurance, and required certifications. • Monitor GPS tracking and respond to route deviations or operational issues. • Coordinate with clients, dispatchers, and operations teams to ensure smooth transportation activities. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and Saudi transportation requirements. • Investigate incidents, accidents, and operational delays, and recommend corrective actions. • Maintain accurate records of trips, drivers, maintenance, fuel, and fleet performance. • Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs. • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of drivers when required. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet or logistics operations. • Strong knowledge of fleet management, transportation planning, and fuel control. • Experience using GPS tracking systems and fleet management software. • Good communication and leadership skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting tools. • Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
