Logistics Officer – Export & Import

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and detail\-oriented **Logistics Officer – Export \& Import** to manage and coordinate import and export shipments, shipping documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and logistics activities. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of international shipping procedures and Qatar customs requirements. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate **import and export shipments** from origin to final destination. * Prepare and verify shipping and export/import documentation, including **Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading, and related documents**. * Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, transport companies, and customers. * Follow up on **customs clearance, shipping schedules, container movements, and deliveries**. * Ensure timely submission of customs and shipping documents. * Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to relevant departments. * Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding shipment arrangements and documentation. * Maintain proper records of import/export transactions and logistics documents. * Check freight charges, shipping costs, and related invoices. * Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable customs/import\-export regulations. * Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and other logistics\-related problems. * Coordinate with **Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments** to ensure smooth logistics operations. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in **Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field**. * **3–5 years of relevant experience** in import/export and logistics operations. * Experience in **Qatar logistics, customs clearance, and international shipping** is preferred. * Good knowledge of **Import/Export procedures, Incoterms, customs documentation, and freight forwarding**. * Experience dealing with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs clearing agents. * Good communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem\-solving skills. * Strong knowledge of **MS Office, especially Excel**. * Good command of **English** * Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments and deadlines. Preferred Experience Experience in **lubricants, oils, chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial products** will be an added advantage.
