Job description

• Proactively monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization across Linux environments, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact users. • Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. • Automate routine tasks such as patching, backups, and deployments using scripting languages like Bash or Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to enforce security policies and maintain system integrity. • Must have good experience in Oracle/ OCI and Linux • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Linux Administrator or Operator in a production environment. • Proficiency in at least one major Linux distribution (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS). • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and their application in Linux.
