Liferay Developer

**Experience \& Location: 6\+ years, Qatar** **Preferred Nationality: Egyptian** **Job Responsibilities:** o Manage the OpenText Liferay Platform and its components, including high\-level platform administration. o Install CARS, OTDS, and the Liferay Platform. o Perform system configuration, backup, and restore activities on the Liferay Platform. o Create and assign users to roles and teams. o Implement and test web services and the SOA grid. o Investigate logs using the Liferay Platform logging framework. o Troubleshoot business processes using Process Instance Manager. o Configure OTDS (OpenText Directory Services) to integrate with the Liferay Platform. o Manage users using the Identity Package. o Deploy and launch applications on the Liferay Platform. o Provide end\-user support and resolve implementation issues. o Assemble entity hierarchies and establish relationships between entities. o Deploy entity\-based solutions and expose entities as web services. o Build user interfaces using lists, forms, and layouts. o Design, develop, and implement Java\-based applications. o Interpret requirements and develop high\-quality, specification\-compliant code. o Design application functions and define development objectives in collaboration with the team. o Write scalable and testable code aligned with project objectives. o Identify and resolve immediate and potential application issues. o Prepare detailed reports on completed projects and work tasks. o Collaborate with internal teams to implement and execute required tasks. o Assist other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding.
