### **Job Description**
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensures swimming pool surrounding kept clean, tidy and organized.
* Ensures constant supervision during the opening hours of the pool area.
* Maintains and ensures compliance of swimming pool regulations.
* Assists guests upon their request.
* Monitors activities at the pool to prevent accidents and points out any trouble in swimming pool \& beach operation
* Reports any incidents that happen in the duty area directly to the supervisor/manager.
* Maintains daily report in log\-book.
* Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe practices and safety hazards; enforces and adheres to pool rules and regulations.
* Maintains order in the pool and adjoining areas.
* Inspects facilities for cleanliness; completes general pool cleaning and maintenance duties.
* Determines chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit, and record readings.
* Provides general information on pool operation to guests.
* Teaches swimming lessons.
* Arranges pool exercise and pool activities (i.e. water polo, water volleyball).
* Provides towel service to hotel guests.
* Performs other duties as assigned by Fitness Center Manager/Front Office Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENT
* Minimum 3 years of Lifeguard experience, preferably in a 5\-star hotel.
* Valid Lifeguard Licence/Certification from an approved authority.
* Strong knowledge of lifeguarding, surveillance, water rescue, First Aid and CPR.
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Good decision\-making and emergency response skills.
* Physically fit, well\-groomed, alert, and professional.
* Friendly, polite, and guest\-service oriented.
