Job description
We are seeking an experienced **LiDAR Engineer / LiDAR Processing Specialist/ Topographic Draftsman** for an immediate **contract\-based** assignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing LiDAR and survey datasets, preparing engineering deliverables, and supporting infrastructure and land development projects in Abu Dhabi.
**Minimum Requirements**
* Minimum **3 years of UAE experience** in LiDAR data processing and survey engineering.
* Bachelor's **or** Master's Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Geology, Civil Engineering, GIS, or related discipline.
* Available for **immediate joining**.
* Valid UAE residence visa (preferred).
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process LiDAR datasets.
* Register, align, classify, and clean point cloud data.
* Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings from point cloud datasets.
* Generate topographic maps, contours, DTMs, DEMs, TIN models, and surface models.
* Prepare as\-built drawings and engineering deliverables.
* Perform QA/QC and ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Coordinate with survey teams, consultants, contractors, and clients.
* Manage large LiDAR datasets and maintain project data integrity.
**Technical Skills**
Experience with one or more of the following software:
* Trimble Business Center
* Leica Cyclone
* DJI Terra
* Pix4D
* TerraScan / TerraModel
* FARO Software
* Bentley MicroStation
* AutoCAD
* Civil 3D
* Basic Revit (Point Cloud to BIM)
* Magnet Bridge
Knowledge of drone mapping, terrestrial laser scanning, mobile mapping, and engineering survey workflows will be an advantage.
