Legal Tech Specialist **Company:** Pilania Law Associates **Location:** Muscat, Muscat Governorate, Oman **Area:** Al Asimah, Ministries District **Salary:** OMR 1,500 per month **Job Type:** Full\-time Job Overview Pilania Law Associates is seeking a technically skilled and legally aware **Legal Tech Specialist** to support the integration, implementation, and optimization of technology within legal operations. The successful candidate will work closely with lawyers, legal support teams, IT professionals, and management to improve document management, legal workflows, data security, research processes, and overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Evaluate and implement legal technology solutions that improve law\-firm operations. * Support the configuration and administration of legal practice management and document management systems. * Develop and optimize digital workflows for case management, contracts, document review, and legal processes. * Provide technical support and training to lawyers and administrative staff. * Assist with the implementation of legal research, e\-discovery, document automation, and collaboration tools. * Integrate legal applications with existing business systems and databases where required. * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technology\-related issues. * Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, workflows, procedures, and user guides. * Support data migration, system upgrades, software deployments, and technology implementation projects. * Help establish appropriate data security, access controls, backup procedures, and privacy practices. * Work with vendors and technology providers to resolve technical issues and evaluate new solutions. * Identify opportunities to automate repetitive legal and administrative tasks. * Support the responsible adoption of AI and other emerging technologies in legal workflows. * Analyze user requirements and recommend practical technology improvements. * Prepare reports and recommendations for management regarding legal technology performance and future investments. * Ensure technology solutions align with applicable legal, regulatory, confidentiality, and data\-protection requirements. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Legal Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field. * Experience working with legal technology, law\-firm systems, enterprise applications, or IT support. * Understanding of legal workflows, document management, case management, contract management, or e\-discovery is highly desirable. * Familiarity with Microsoft 365, document automation, workflow platforms, databases, and cloud\-based applications. * Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, access controls, and information governance. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project\-management, and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non\-technical legal professionals. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a professional services environment. * Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
