Job description
Responsible for providing legal advice and support to the Aluminum division of the organization. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role will assist with a variety of legal matters including contract review, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and general counsel on business operations.
Key Accountabilities
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Develop and implement the legal strategy and business plan to ensure the achievement of objectives and goals.
• Formulate and communicate the legal policies and procedures across Maaden to safeguard compliance and ensure alignment to the overall corporate business plan.
• Provide regular and ad hoc legal consultation and advisory services to ensure adherences to set standards and guidelines.
• Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in Law, MBA, from a reputable university
Minimum Experience: 6 years' experience in corporate legal work with reputable firms, of which at least five (2) years must be at Legal counsel Associate level.

Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in legal research, writing, and contract/document drafting Knowledge of aluminum industry regulations and compliance requirements preferred
