We are partnering with a well-established luxury retail organisation in Dubai that is looking for an experienced Learning & Development Specialist with a strong hospitality background to join their People team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about developing people, delivering engaging learning programmes, and driving a culture of continuous development. The ideal candidate will have experience working in customer-centric, service-driven environments where employee development and exceptional customer experience go hand in hand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, coordinate and deliver engaging learning and development programmes across the business.
• Facilitate onboarding, induction and training sessions for new employees.
• Identify training needs through collaboration with managers and business leaders.
• Develop learning materials, presentations and training resources aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, recommending continuous improvements.
• Support leadership development, succession planning and talent development initiatives.
• Ensure learning programmes promote outstanding customer service and brand standards.
• Maintain training records, monitor compliance training and prepare regular reports.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training or Talent Development.
• Previous experience within the hospitality industry is essential.
• Experience delivering classroom, workshop and on-the-job training.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
• Passion for coaching, developing people and creating engaging learning experiences.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
• Fluent in English.
• Additional languages are considered an advantage.
